By downloading, installing, or using Doqo ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Doqo is a document scanning application for iOS that provides document scanning, text recognition (OCR), AI-powered summaries, document chat, and organizational tools. The app offers both free and paid subscription tiers.

3. Free Tier

Unlimited document scanning and OCR
PDF export and sharing
Full-text search
3 lifetime AI summary credits
1 free chat message per day
Optional rewarded video ads for additional chat credits

4. Pro Subscription

Doqo Pro is available as a monthly ($6.99/month) or yearly ($49.99/year) auto-renewable subscription.
A 3-day free trial is available for new subscribers.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

5. AI Features

AI summaries and document chat are powered by third-party AI services (Google Gemini).
AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and may contain errors.
Do not rely on AI summaries as a substitute for professional legal, medical, or financial advice.
We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

6. User Content

You retain all rights to documents you scan and store in Doqo. We do not claim ownership of your content. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to scan and store any documents you process through the app.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the app for any illegal purpose
Attempt to circumvent subscription or usage limits
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
Use the AI chat feature for purposes unrelated to document analysis

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Doqo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that OCR text extraction or AI summaries will be error-free or accurate. Always verify important information from original source documents.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or documents.

10. Data Loss

While we take care to preserve your documents, we are not responsible for data loss. We recommend enabling iCloud Sync (Pro feature) and regularly exporting important documents as PDFs.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
